Gaetano Di Gaetano
Director and screenwriter. Founder of Solaris.
Born in Leonforte, Sicily, he lives and works in Milan. He graduated with honours in Film from IULM University. He writes all of his films, and his cinema is about the bond between people and the places they live in.
His short films have been selected at dozens of festivals, including Taormina, Giffoni and Filmmaker Festival. He has worked under the guidance of Michelangelo Frammartino, Alessandro Comodin and Luca Bigazzi.
Solaris is also his production company. It produced L’estate amara, Proprio qui and Tina, two of them with the support of the Sicilian Region.

- It depends on the format and the place. After a first conversation you receive the director’s note and a detailed quote, with no obligation. Prices exclude VAT.
- Do we have to stop our business during the shoot?
- No. We work with a small crew and plan the shoot around the rhythms of your property and your guests.
- Are we involved in writing the film?
- Yes. Gaetano writes the story from what you tell us and shares it with you before we shoot. We set the direction of the film together.
- What do we receive at the end?
- The main film and its versions for digital channels, such as vertical cuts for social media, ready to publish. The details depend on the format you choose.
- Can we use the film in advertising?
- Yes. For paid campaigns on Meta, Google and YouTube we offer a dedicated licence, agreed together in the contract.
